Why oil-free air
A single drop of oil in compressed air can contaminate a batch, spoil packaging or damage a sensitive process. With an oil-free compressor, the risk is removed at the source.
ISO 8573-1 classifies compressed air quality. Class 0 is the most demanding: it is required in food, beverages, pharma, electronics, textiles and painting.
Without oil there is no oily condensate to treat, fewer filters to replace, and air quality that stays constant whatever the pollution in the ambient air.

A catalyst converts oil and hydrocarbons in the air into water and CO₂. Unlike activated-carbon filters, quality stays constant and does not depend on hydrocarbons in the ambient air. It can also be added to existing compressors.

Oil-free piston compressors
The PO series is 100% oil-free, compact, sound-insulated and RoHS compliant. For high pressure, the K 8 BOOSTER delivers oil-free air up to 40 bar with a lubrication-free connecting-rod system.
